I am one of those that say "The book is better than the movie" whether manga that has been turned into anime or novels that have seen the big screen I prefer to read them.
Don't get me wrong I love Anime, but I prefer to read the original work at its finest art. I find it more rewarding viewing the orginal art by the author than their animated counterparts. Except maybe with Outlaw Star...I think I prefered the anime.
