Are we still the same?
I ask this question to the sky
We're still under the moon
But yet we're different, you and I (yes I'm aware the correct way is "you and me" in this context, but meh--I needed a ryhme)
The smiles we once shared
Have all faded into the clouds
Things that once seemed perfect
Are no longer allowed
But still we're under the moon
Still live each day breath by breath
Still think about each other
Brought to grips by concepts of death
Yet...I miss you under the sun
Though we're together under the moon
So far away, too far away
But I'll be with you soon
How I've wished upon your eyes
Please, it's not hard to try
Just give me one last chance
Before I die
