Sorry there's a difference. Being able to play one string instrument well will no doubt make it
easier to play others but it in no sense means you can actually "play" it. You can know how to read the music and know what notes t hit however you're still adapting your fingers to an entirely different architecture. You get to skip a few steps but it doesn't make you good at it just by knowing one.
Plus from what you listed how is a drum, flute, or xylophone string instruments?
My Girlfriend is the same way. She can play an array of instruments extremely well and even composes music. It's not just playing one because she can play another though. She's even made entire songs with 4+ different instruments in them all by her playing it and syncing it up properly. Hell her first set of drums was just a makeshift set of cans put together.
