"Come on guys, I don't have all day and it's going to be dark soon," the 18-year-old Conner yelled out to his friends who were a few meters behind him. He flipped his sandy-blonde hair out of his face and shaded his ocean blue eyes from the setting sun.
Lacy brushed back her fire red hair and her blue, almost violet eyes shined, "We're hurrying, it's not like we have anything better to do" the 16-year-old replied, stating the obvious.
Destiny, with her blonde hair and forest green eyes sighed softly and risked a look at Lawrence, and finds him watching her.
"Uh, um, Lacy's right. We, um, don't have any other friends. It's only us," Destiny spoke, stumbling over her words.
Lawrence moved his muscular body closer to Destiny and looked to Conner's back, "Um, you guys go on ahead...I want to show Destiny something."
Stopping, Conner turned his head lightly so his words would travel to his closest friend, "Fine, just remember what I said. The woods make it seem to get darker so be careful," he replied sternly.
Destiny rolled her eyes, "Sure, whatever"

It goes on from there but that is just the begining of the first chapter. I know it's not very descriptive but it the most original work I have at the moment. |
