Not the first game
but these days DMC is supposed to be cheesy but I hate the cheesiness factor. Besides, anyone who judges DMC solely because of the cutscenes is errm... I don't know how to say this... PLAY the game. And see if it's at all fun while playing it. Not watching cutscenes.
BTW, sucking at a game doesn't equal the game sucking.
