Chapter 3 "Ex Nihilo Nihil Fit ("nothing may come from nothing")

Tin appeared back in the locale, and waited for a few seconds, to make sure Ferric hadn't followed.
He sighed, and ran his hands through his grey hair, purposefully messing it up even more.
"Zezare, you can come out now," Tin said tiredly. There was a few seconds of silence before a black cat darted out and rubbed against Tin's legs. Suddenly, the cat's form was distorted, and a woman was standing in its place. She was pale, with skin like snow, and she had long black hair that reached to the bottom of her back.
Zezare smiled and touched Tin's hair affectionately.
"What is this new look in your eyes?" She asked in a voice that was soft and faintly like a purr.
Tin shook his head. "No look. I'm just...stressed."
Zezare pulled back her hand. "You? Stressed? Whatever for? I didn't think you ever got stressed."
Tin thought for a moment, and Ferric's face flashed through his mind ・his striking cobalt eyes; the way his hair was so uneven yet orderly; the look in his eyes that first time they met, when Tin no longer held him under his spell; even the harsh way that Ferric spoke. Tin didn't really feel like killing this guy. He wanted to know more about him, why he was the way he was. But if Ferric kept coming after him, Tin might have to kill him, to preserve his own life. Yet...he was actually having fun...
Zezare frowned, then she took Tin's hand in her own and blew on it gently. Tin smiled. This was Zezare's way of bringing Tin out of his thoughts, and that she felt left out or sometimes just wanted him to acknowledge her.
"Tell me what you're thinking, Tin dear," She purred.
Tin opened his mouth, then closed it again, before answering,"I知 thinking that・ wanna give a heart to Heartless." Tin turned toward his bedroom and slowly walked into it.
"What are you talking about?" Zezare asked in confusion.
"I don't know," Tin replied, falling gently onto his bed. Zezare followed, curling up in Tin's arms.
"Heartless Catharsis?"
"Yeah," Tin said quietly, stroking Zezare's hair absentmindedly.
"Aiming a little high, aren't you?"
Tin smiled slightly, "Yup."
Zezare laughed softly, then stopped.
"Ah, but what is it that makes you think you can give this cold person a warm heart?"
"I don't know. A look in his eyes," Tin said simply, continuing to stoke Zezare's hair.
"He wants to kill you," Zezare pointed out.
Tin paused. "Maybe he doesn't. Maybe he's just lonely..."

Zezare closed her eyes. "Maybe."

When Tin woke up, Zezare was gone. That's just like her, Tin thought, getting up and stretching. But I thought I heard a sound. Tin could tell it was a little after noon, even though the blinds and shades were closed.
"I'm fairly certain Ferric won't attack today. I'm sure he's..." Tin broke off when he heard another sound, this one a little louder, like someone had tripped. That's not Zexare...Not bothering to put back on his shirt, he strode out of his room. Suddenly, someone grabbed him from behind and had an athame at his throat. Tin tried to jerk out of his arms, and the athame slid across his jawbone, cutting deep into his skin and causing blood to trickle down his neck. Tin used his full force and launched forward, landing gracefully on his hands for a moment before completing the back flip to land on his feet, facing his attacker.
Standing there holding a silver-bladed athame was none other than Ferric. He was dressed all in black, and had small chains wrapped around both of his forearms. His deep cobalt eyes peered straight into Tin's light turquoise ones strangely, and some of his dark black hair was covering part of his eyes. Tin didn't move. For once in his life, Tin was the one captivated by another.
"Don't you have some sort of stupid-ass remark?"Ferric smirked, glancing at the blood that had now reached Tin's shoulder and was slowly sliding towards his chest.
"Aaah...," The sound escaped Tin's lips, and licking his lips, he regained control. He wasn't used to wanting someone this bad. Do I want Ferric? Tin asked himself, but gave no answer.
"I wasn't expecting you. You're relentless, you know," Tin said softly, avoiding Ferric's gaze.
"I take pride in it. You, however, have no pride, you little f**king liar,"Ferric said angrily, gripping the athame tighter and raising it defensively.
Tin raised his eyebrows. "When did I lie to you?"
Ferric was behind Tin and had the athame to his throat so fast, Tin didn't even see it coming.
"Last night! You said...But it wasn't true! You used your powers on me the entire time!"
Tin laughed gently, and turned his head towards Ferric.
"No. I wasn't lying. I never lie,"Tin said with a smile. He could smell the faint essence of the woods on Ferric, and thought, I wanna do it again; I want to make him see... And Tin began to put Ferric under his spell again.
"Put the athame down, Ferric,"Tin whispered rhythmically, and the hand Ferric was holding the athame in pulled away from Tin" neck.
"Ferric...I know you can put it down. I know you want to,"Tin whispered again, touching Ferric's hand gentland turning towards him.. Ferric dropped the athame, and it clattered to the ground.
Tin looked in Ferric's eyes again, but only the power of his seduction spell reflected back at his. Tin wanted to see the look Ferric had given him the first time they met, when despite Tin withdrawing his powers, Ferric still wanted him. But Ferric's blue eyes stayed slightly vacant, just like the eyes of all who fell under Tin's spell.
"...Ferric...I want you to answer a question," Tin spoke gently, stroking Ferric's soft black hair. Ferric closed his eyes for a moment, and in that moment Tin looked at him...so defenseless, so helpless, so needy...and he wanted nothing more than to hold him.
Tin wrapped his arms around Ferric and held him close, on hand on the back of Ferric痴 head, the other around his waist. Ferric instantly melted into Tin痴 bare chest.
"...Ferric...," Tin whispered comfortingly in Ferric's ear, as if Ferric were crying. Then softly, barely audible, he asked, "Are you...lonely...?"
Tin held Ferric closer even still to his body, taking in the faint smell of the outdoors in Ferric's hair, before withdrawing his powers slowly. Tin moved a little, and kissed Ferric's forehead. Ferric's arms wrapped around Tin's waist, and he sighed slightly in Tin's ear.
All of a sudden, Ferric pushed away from Tin so hard, Tin fell on his back. Tin jumped back to his feet and quickly looked in Ferric's eyes. It's that same look! The look he gave me before!
"You f**king...you...," Ferric's voice was shaking slightly. "You...! What the hell kind of...of...question is that?!"
Tin looked down at his feet. The look is nearly gone...
"I don't know. It's one you won't answer."
Ferric threw his athame at Tin, and Tin just barely dodged it going through his heart.
"Why the f**k would I care, or you care, if I was lonely?! I don't care! I don't give a shit! It doesn't matter," Ferric yelled, then charged at Tin, and pushed him against the wall. Pain shot through Tin's back, but he smiled anyway, and rested his hand on Ferric's. Time seemed to stand still for a moment as they looked into each other's eyes--Ferric angrily, Tin sympatheticaly.
Ferric punched Tin in the face, breaking his nose, and then disappeared.

Sorry if there's any symbols...I tried...to fix them...I can't post anymore, sorry...I'm really, really sick...I'm sorry...I'll try!

I'm pretty content with life right now....For the most part, anyway....Well, at least, I'm pretty sure I am....
