tommasi and TalnSG have some good suggestions. If you really want to come to Japan don't give up. In the meantime, why don't you plan a trip to Japan. This way you can get taste for what life could be like there. I know it sounds crazy, but you might end up not liking it or you may fall deeper in love with the place.
