It was very satisfying comfort food, and just spicy enough to send all of us to the cash bar for water. When the volunteer coordinator came in later and saw the remains of the buffet she got a clear message. The sushi rolls, peppers, and desserts were gone but the lunch meat, pasta salad and breads were almost untouched.

This weekend I am going to try making my own version of a chili relleno with that stuffing, fried in a wasabi laced batter and garnished with masago.
