Global warming, well everyone has been talking about it a lot for the past couple of years. And nowadays all scientists agree that it is already happening. The biggest difference is that some say it will change the climate in the next 10 years or so, others say it will take over a 100 years before the effects get really bad, so there is plenty of time.

I think it is really time to do something about this. Certain species are on the verge of extinction. And some vaslty populated countries have been hit by tyfoons, stunamis, earthquaks, floods, etc. too often in the past 10 years. So it must be a priority to help those people who are stuck in such a situation. And I think it is clear that these things have not been happening without a reason. Global warming is what has been triggering it.

Ok, I understand that some people think that these changes are just a natural fluctuation between warm periods and cold periods. But these changes are happening too fast. We will not be able to adapt to the changes at the pace that they are happening right now.

And yes humans have survived an ice age in the past. but personally I really would not want to be alive to see something like that really happening. Just because some percentage of the human population survived it in those days does not mean it is a walk in the park.

When there is nothing left to burn, you have to set yourself on fire
