Thank you for that link. I knew there was as a shrine somewhere n the norhtwest, but had never gone searching for it. My best friend in 8th grade introduced me to Shinto though she herself was not theat well versed in it. Her grandparents were Shinto, but not her parents.

Then in college I came across a simple book that has remained in my library. "The Looking-Glass God; Shinto, Yin-Yang, and a Cosmology for Today" by Nuhum Stiskin. Its seems to be a fairly good overview for a someone more familiar with western philosophy.


Only an open mind and open heart can be filled with life.
