In fact I typed a message for the other french friend, but typed it in english, and so remarked this point after sending it, due to the habit to type in english here. So I made for him the french message you've translated.
Other way, Paris is a nice town, especially the 5th and 6th arrondissement. Take a look there someday if you could.
