I don't like the DS Lite, I like the original DS better. But I picked DS anyway because I prefer it over the PSP.

The reason? None of my friends have a PSP, barely anyone plays it round here. It's all about the DS where I am, we all play DS together. PSP is probably better if you just want to play by yourself, it also has some random extra features that someone might want aswell. DS is just more fun to play and more long lasting and new, PSP is just a gameboy with nicer graphics.
