Does America have racism problems? Hell yes. Every day. But I would contend that progress is happening.

I guess you're right. Like I said, I don't really know much about America and I've never been there... As for France, you can take my word for it, even Koaku knows about it. Racism is extremely alive here. It's to the point that, when people ask me where I'm from, I say England instead of Algeria to save myself from the prejudgements and dirty looks etc.
I'm pretty sure there is A LOT of progress in the US, but the reason I made that post was in reply to what Koaku said. It was something along the lines of America not being racist. So I just replied with my experience of Xbox Live, which you described to be not so accurate. But one thing I will say, is that; even though on xbox live 75% of the time, they don't know what they're saying, it's pretty bad that they even have the thought about it! People generally show their true colours when they're anonymous!
