I pay almost that much A MONTH, and our family is experiencing some medical situations (thankfully not life-threatening) that I must pay 100% for because it doesn't fall within our "plan". So for the last several months I have been paying 270 dollars a month for insurance that doesn't cover the 500 to 1500 dollars a month I am paying in actual medical fees.

And then the presidents of these insurance companies are paid millions of dollars a year in CHRISTMAS BONUSES.
