There has been no objective reporting about Obama during this campaign season. He is the favorite of the media, and the internet, and it is they who helped most to get him the nomination. I've never seen such blatant nonsense in my life. 6 months ago they were saying there would be hell to pay if Obama won the popular vote in the primary, but lost due to the votes of the super delegates, but in the end, the opposite thing happened; Hillary won the popular vote, but the super delegates voted for Obama.
Some super delegates voted contrary to the will of their constituents, primary of which was governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico. Hillary won New Mexico in the primary, meaning the people chose her to be their candidate, but Bill Richardson gave his super delegate vote to Obama, which was a snub to the people who elected him. But we forget that even with democrat politicians, they do not care about the people who elect them, but those who donate to their campaigns.
For those who think Obama is a candidate for change, he is no different from any other candidate. One of the top contributors to his senate campaign was just convicted on several felony charges, mainly related to political corruption. This same person (his name is Tony Rezko, btw) helped Obama and his wife buy the Illinois mansion in which they now live, but which they should not have been able to afford, given the sale price, and the amount of the Obama's income and savings.
Both candidates, McCain, and Obama, are worthless. They are puppets who look and speak well, but like puppets, they have no real brains, the machines that run their campaigns do their thinking for them. Every single thing about them, from their clothes, to their hair cuts, to their facial expressions, are choreographed, they do not say a single word or answer a single question that is not rehearsed for and approved by their speechwriters and campaign staff.
Obama's staff had heart attacks earlier in the year when Obama said America should invade Pakistan militarily to chase terrorists, and that he would sit down and talk with Hugo Chavez (whom the King of Spain called "stupid" to his face) and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The Bush administration actually had to apologize to Pakistan on Obama's behalf
When you elect a president in America (or most other western nations), you are not electing the man, you are electing the mechanism which controls him. To become president you need one thing, money, as much as 100 million dollars nowadays, what kind of promises do you have to make to get that money, and to whom do you have to make them? Obama got the most money, so he got the nomination. McCain got the money, and he got the nomination.
