Each of these groups thinks they are correct. And each of these groups have subgroups. IE Canada has Newfoundland English, and each province/territory has its own small variations. Being from Saskatchewan myself, what the rest of the world calls a "hoody", I call a "bunnyhug".

There is no "proper" English anymore. There are varying levels of politeness, spelling and grammar accuracy, yes, but nothing "proper".
