Then why did his Attorney General express specifically that Habeas Corpus is not covered by the constitution? This is in testimony to Congress. That's where he got the idea.
How do you know the government has not spied on our phone calls? If they hadn't why did Bush say he would veto a bill that expressly did NOT give the telecoms protection from the invasion of privacy they allowed the government to do already?
