But how else will you be able to read it, if it doesn't have a translation or release in your own country? Seriously, the unlicensed stuff I've read online, I would so buy it without thinking twice about it if it had an official release in my home country in my own language. It'd kind of be a waste to buy it for any other reason if they can't be read, unless collecting them. I'd buy originals, if I was already fluent in the language, which I'm not. I'm too much of a beginner for that. I still hold out and hope that the titles I'm interested in will someday get an official license. I find it disturbing that Gokusen still doesn't have one.

Edit: As for downloading anime that is unlicensed, what if it's a show that's currently airing and you download and watch it as Japan does. Is that still considered bad to do if you're keeping up with them? Wouldn't it be the same as watching through sattelite or something? This just popped into mind for me.
