I would love to help someone learn english, and would love to leaern japanese culture from someone who actually lives in Japan. As an American though, I would have to say it's not worth coming here. In my opinion, the only thing to see New York City, and Tokyo is, from my understanding, even busier than New York, so you probably have everything there. I would say England is more interesting.
