I'm a fan of the traditional myself, especially the chinese dress loli. A friend of mine and I are trying to get into male goth loli. It's a little difficult though.

Anyway I suppose the reason I find the traditional loli more apealing than the more modern Goth, Babydoll is becouse of my being a Martial Artist at a really traditional school. I love the look of Gi on any person. And one of my favorate outfits is a Wushu performance uniform. It's sort of like a kung fu uniforn only with no sleeves.

Anyway that's my stance on it.
