Hello All,

So I want to my nearest Japanese Market and I picked up the first four volumes of DeathNote in Japanese. THis is my first time doing anything practical with Japanese so, as I read the first couple pages, I would like to post my translations here so someone could check/critique them. I would put this on the translations sticky, but this could take many posts, and I didn't want to do that. So, with that said here's what I can get out of page 1 (the page before the measurements of the main character and the shinigami):

The shinigami lands.
Each day is the same repeated thing. It's dull.
As for this world (I don't know the next line, I looked up the kanji for kusa in my dictionary and couldn't find anything)
The human lands

That's it for the first page.

Also, how do you get two syllables to translate into kanji on the computer. I can only do one at a time, making me unable to type two syllable kanji, which is why I didn't put the Japanese equivalent above.
