A large trailer unit was left suspended from a pillar on an elevated section of Tokyo's Metropolitan Expressway on Thursday morning after rolling onto its side and smashing through a side wall, while its driver died after falling to the road below, police said. The vehicle apparently failed to follow a rightward curve on the expressway at the site of the accident, which took place at around 6 a.m. in the Motoakasaka area in Minato Ward, they said.
The driver, believed to be Shinobu Sawaguchi, 32, who worked for a trucking company in Ibaraki Prefecture, died shortly after falling 10 meters from the vehicle to the road below, the Metropolitan Police Department said.

Don't walk behind me, I may not lead.
Just walk beside me and be my friend.-- Albert Camus
