XD pokeys? my gilfriend eats pokeys like fish drink water and I have instant ramen wheneve i don't feel like cooking or when she doesn't. If I'm correct, shes about 5'6 and only weighs roughly 100 lbs and i'm 5'11 and weigh 135lbs. Yeah, i'm sure metabolism plays a roll in that..But we also eat traditional foods that the chinese eat. or usualy any kind of asian food...i think the only thing other than asian meals that she has us eat..is steak...and baked potatoes and random things like that. -.- It's all based on well balanced meals.

Rice has an excellent source of niacin and a moderate source of protein, thiamin and iron. It also has fiber and other vitamins. and what does fiber do? Well..if you are unaware..Fiber plays a HUUUGE roll in the bodies digestive system....which helps keep a healthy metabolism -.-
hmm...lets talk about noodles then..Again..Fiber...egg noodles actually have double the fiber as rice.
and ontop of fiber, noodles are an excellent source of Selenium, Thiamine, and Folate and some Niacin. Look of the vitamins if you want..Cause I dont wanna spam the thead with info on healthy foods.
Now...that alone..is just in the rice and noodles. NOT including any sauces, or meats or vegitables that are usualy present in asian meals.
Ameican food usualy consists of something like a fat juicy medium rare steak soaked in a boat load of grease then served with a brick of butter in your mashed potatoes and a soda...Which usualy gets refilled about 2-3 times before a nice milkshake or slice of pie/cake XD
Yes, some people cannot help how their bodies are built..But it doesnt mean they cant eat healthy to STOP their bodies from continuously gaining unwanted weight. The Japanese arent 'thin' they just have a really petite bone structure compared to...let's say the german. but everyone can lose weight and stay fit if they truely wanted to.
