hmm..
It change a lot, after the chuunin exams ( there has happend a lot that I won't tell
) they start with missions but the teams start working together.
After that someone dissapears and Naruto start chearching for that person. after that there is an organisation who wants to capture Naruto
then you skip 2 years and the shippuuden episodes starts.
In the shippuuden episodes he's still chearching for that person and that organisation is still after him.
But I won't say more because I don't want to spoil it to much ^^
