As it has been said, I don't think this wording would fit. A more appropriate sentences would be "How
is it going?" (How's it going?) or "How's it coming along?".
Others could be:

"Everything going/(coming along) okay?"
"Need some help?"
"(Got) Any questions?"
In a nutshell, the phrase "How
are you going" isn't used in Canada, except when asking about a method of transportation. However, "How's
it going" is quite frequently used, just in a different context.
