there are some techniques involved in styling such dramatic hairstyles....
things like back combing your hair will help give spikes~
straightening before adding anything too your hair helps drasticaly~
washing your hair before you do anything too it helps things ...well help your hair better~
gel is best as a finisher~ soo that your spikes don't fall apart....
sprays or spritz's are useful too help hold long spikes (i like too spritz w/ a bit of got 2 be hair spray whenever i back comb my hair)
and wax does help w/ doing details in your hair as well as finishing off tips >.>'''
