Lolita is a fashion in Japan, but it's not the biggest. I love it.
Anywho... In America, there aren't that many people with lolita fashions. It's not as socially acceptable here and it's kind of embarassing in America more than Japan because there's a more likely chance you would see lolita in Japan.
There's this REALLY great magazine in Borders called the "Gothic Lolita Bible" where you can find LOTS of links and things to do for the fashion in it. I find it in the manga isles in my Borders, but I don't know about yours. Order it on a computer in your store if it's not there and it's $20. All color, patterns, and HUUUGE pages which are chock-full of fun stuff.
Being the geek I am, I'm making a "Dream Cafe" which is going to be all lolita. I'm making a scrap book with pictures of everything that will be sold in the cafe, the uniforms, and the furniture.
