You are the one that calls my news worthless. I just threw that in for your benefit. And I do live in one of the greenest cities in the US, and maybe the world.
I am very aware of the level of US pollution. However I also see what is going on in China (a country with 4 times the population) and I can't help but worry. How many children died in the recent earthquakes because of ignored safety violations?

I will repeat myself. I was talking about the culture of environmental, safety and health in China. It's like talking about the "business culture". It has nothing to do with Chinese culture, but just China finding its place in the world (not the West) in terms of these issues.
