School Days is a bit too predictable. The protagonists are extremely annoying. The protagonists lack emotional understanding.

If you want a good punch of drama and extreme case scenarios then this is the animé for you.

Kimigazu No Ein (sp?) is much better, it focuses on the extremes as well, but the characters do not lose their way.
