My Japanese teacher is encouraging us to do the level 4 test, but a classmate tried the level 3 last year and just didn't pass, so he said with 2 years of (part time) study under our belts we should be able to pass it easy this round.

No time to go ahead and do it this year though, too much going on around the same time. At this point I'm not really looking to find a job in Japan other than JET, so I don't feel there's a huge point in me doing it just for the sake of achievement when I have enough encouragement from my class.
