If she gave us some fun, then I would have been interested in English and started studying earlier, but she gave me a bad image about English.

I didn't hate English as a subject, but it was very difficult and wasn't interested until I was 18 or 19 when I had penfriends.
Exchanging letters with them was fun then I was getting interested more and more in countries&cultures where English is spoken.

How about you?
When you first heard people speak Japanese,
What did it sound like?

Some people told me it sounds like "machine-gun".
Ah, yeah, but that is still good that you at least want to learn about the english language.

umm to me it doesn't sound very much like a machine gun. Really i don't have very much words to explain the way it sounds, but the language has a lot of "S" sounds in it...like um kinda like a machine gun,but not too much. Lets just say its like a soft machine gun and alot of "s" sounds in it....ah! it's too hard to explain but to me it sounds Heavenly to me.
