Better to think of it as "原子" + "力". 原子 is a word meaning 'atom'. This way, it should all make sense.

Ah fair enough!, I should probably do some more research on kangi' romanization, so I can look them up as words like I do with hirigana and katakana....
and 25 posts that usually goes quick... especailly if I need help with something....
