I ask, because it bugs the hell out of me. Oh and I'm talking about Ocarina of Time....Master Quest.

The places where she just randomly starts turning green?
Well, if those are the ones you're talking about, then it's going to take some memory.
NOTE: I've only played the original, but I doubt there's a huge difference... Right?
Anyways...
You know those two scare crows by Lake Hyrule? The ones that dance if you play music to them? Well, one of them makes a comment about never forgetting any song he's ever heard.
Remember the song you play to him, because you can use it later on to get to certain places. You can play whatever notes you want to him, just make sure it's something you can remember. You can change it if you have to, though, so whatever. It WILL NOT show up in the list of songs you know.
Then, when you're an adult, or even while you're still a kid, you can play that song in certain places and he'll pop up out of the ground, giving you a place to use your hookshot to pull yourself over.
It's actually kind of useful for getting to certain places that you normally couldn't get to otherwise. To be honest, I think it's the same scarecrow that shows up in Majora's Mask that you can dance the day/night away with, lol.
Did anyone else ever try the glitch on the old one to get out of the Kokiri Forest before visiting the Deku tree, while that one Kokiri is still blocking your way?
It's a little risky, because it involves moving the cartridge inside the N64, but it won't erase your file or anything... I think... Whatever. If you hold in the direction to go out on the little control stick thingy, and VERY lightly push the game cartridge to your left, you can slip through the kid and go out into Hyrule field with no sword, shield, money, or anything. However, you can't get back in, lol.
