Indeed.
I was sort of rooting for Light in the beginning... but then he became too selfish. If I were to pick a side, I would pick L, because of the set values he respresented.
In the end, though, DN is really an interesting anime because the villain is someone initially intent on doing good. Light isn't necessarily evil --
or isn't he?
