Yes, I've watched it.
Actually, now that I think about it, it was the first J-drama I ever watched.

It was a bit difficult for me, though. Some of the stuff they did just pissed me off. lol
... But, of course, when the main character manages to pull through, everything get's exciting.
As it's been said: The worse the hardship... the bigger the victory.
