9 times out of 10 people would look down on you if they knew you were a prostitute and I got the feeling that it's the same in Europe when I was there so that's what I meant when I said "Prostitution is legal and tolerated in Europe, but not accepted".
And I would be one of those people. Prostitutes are scum. I mean I'm a liberal and agree that they can do whatever they want with their body... but I'm not going to respect them.

A lot of times people just make out like
'they are doing it to look after their little baby girl!' that is rarely ever the case, most of the time they are doing it to fuel there own drug habits, often that is the case with prostitution. Even if they did need to look after a child that isn't the way to go about it, there are plenty of women who manage fine without setting that kind of example so I pretty much think they're scum too.
I wouldn't say it's 'tolerated' in Europe, but they are rarely ever penalised legally because of it, the police have better things to do than that. So if that's what you mean by 'tolerated' then fair enough.
