The PSP-3000 will retail at the same price as the PSP-2000. It's going to be $199 for the entertainment pack, which there's two I believe. One will have a 4GB memory stick while the other will have a game, and 1GB memory stick. I'm not sure if there is going to be a "core" PSP-3000 sold.
Though the screen uses more energy, it was also reported that the overall system uses less power. The Battery life will be the same as the current PSP.

The news i have here about the power consumption is what i wrote in my last post, so i will keep with it until the new 3000 model is out and they make the proper testing of it.
The more polished thing is just marketing, i didnt say they were exactly the thing, but the hell would freeze before i could find any reason to even consider influence my decision of buying it just because of it, the diference other than the logo is almost non existing.
About the pricing I'm in Europe not USA, so guys have it easy because now psp2000 is at 160€ +- here, wich by the diference euro/usd is more expensive already, but like always if something comes out at 199usd it comes here at 199€, wich is lame and it has been done to all consoles. And they announced the 199€ price here already so here it will be more expensive than the previous one, now tell me if u would give 280 usd for it (i checked it before i made the conversion 1€=1.4475usd)
