You've laughed at this token.

Yet you cling to him blindly.

I've picked up the pieces.

while leaving his marks on your face.

and held you as you've cried.

You say it doesn't hurt anymore
You're used to his anger.

He's not for you.

He's just after your body.

He doesn't.

At least that's what I wanted to tell you.
I walked away from the stone cold casket
they had placed you in.
Thinking back on that day, the time in the park.
You had kissed me on the cheek and I started to tell you then.
I thought about how many times you had
defended him before and called it hopeless.
I should've never given up on you.
Maybe it woulld have been different then.
Maybe this would've been our wedding instead of your funeral.

Ok this poem is over 4 years old and still doesn't have a name...should I just leave that way or can someone help me come up with one? (sorry it sux as bad as it does...it's the original and from one of my last school projects) I do plan on re-writing it, as soon as I get rid of my writer's block....>.<
