Not everyone is a Lolita or Visual Kei.
Im sure there are thousands of people in Japan who dress in the same sort of casual manner as "Western" people do. So asking for a "Japanese fashion tip" could be anything from brush your teeth to wear socks with shoes.
Here's a fashion tip thats absolutely applicable to every single person alive:
WEAR WHAT LOOKS GOOD ON YOU, PERSONALLY.
Dont get sucked into doing trends/styles for the sake of (especially when they arent flattering), dress your age so you dont look like a moron, dont dress the weight you wish you were dress your body now, etc.
People dont realize that you can dress in a Goth/Lolita/VisualKei/Punk/ANY
subculture style in a FLATTERING WAY. You dont have to look like the exact duplication of everyone else who likes that look. You can fit that style and still have a well-suited personal style.
FIT, CUT, QUALITY, FABRIC.
if you arent hitting an "A" on all those things with a piece of clothing, dont buy it.

I think that you could have worded this a bit differently. I know you're being helpful, but it sounds more like an attack. However, I don't disagree with a single thing you said.
mangafreak, what style would you like to dress?
