I'm not asian, but I love Japan. I know how you feel, I'm going Into high school as well next year, and there is always going to be a bunch of losers who will stereotype you, no matter what you do to please them.( Not that I'm saying you would do that) For instance, I have exceptionally pale skin, just because my nationality is finnish and polish, and summer just ended, and I never got a tan at all, and people think thats just weird. Honestly, I am either pale as a ghost, or my skin is so badly burned, I look like this happy/angry face

I also like to wear long skirts, while all the other girls are squeezing into tight mini skirts. i've pretty much gotten over the fact that i will never be popular, but I just found a couple of friends to lean on, and were pretty close. I can't really give you much advice on what to wear, I just wear whatever I want and let them have their little fashion judjement time. Anyway, whatever you do, DON'T GIVE IN.
