[Sangetsu]

The irony is amazing. Today I was talking to a Japanese who said he was tired of living in Japan, and wished more than anything that he could move to the US or the UK.

Too bad you and he couldn't trade identities for a year or two, I don't doubt that both you and he would feel homesick before long and want to return.

It's after 7 pm here now, and I'm looking out my window watching the last of students leaving for home. Yes, it's after 7, and there are still kids at the high school. There are also classes on Saturday and Sunday, how many American students would like to spend as much time in school as Japanese students often do?

Don't knock life in America, make the best of it, and be thankful.
