The anime as 12 eps.(24 eps. with about 7 minutes each), is not much and it ends with DMC (Spoiler alert) defeating Jack the Emperor, and some good stuff happen after that, but as long as the manga keeps on rocking on, it's all good.
And now one of my favorite quote from DMC manga:
Sushi is the most Death-Metalish food there is! Eating the raw bodies of living things served on top of rice... There's nothing more demonic than this!
