of course print sales will go down because less prints will be bought! thats when the advertising revenue would balance it out and possibly see a growth in sales. A lot of companies are doing this and they should act on it instead of sticking with the old fashion way. times have changed as with technology.
im not sure about the exact term for it, (i'll call it selective advertising) but selective advertising knows the viewer is in another country if the site requires a free registered profile (pandora radio is a good example of this) and automatically selects appropriate adds for each viewer.
