I also think that Japanese dont care so much about the price, they rather have it convinient. I have seen machines selling 300ml coke for 120 and 500ml coke for 120.... But people actually also buy the small one because they are not so thirsty for a big one. I just think it weird that sometimes there is a machine fully designed in Coke design and the only thing you cant buy is a coke....
I thought that this huge amount of Machines will never be used, but Japanese love them and they get used everywhere! But (saddly) its rather hard to find food vending machines because the Japanese culture teaches you not to eat while walking, so you find them only in Internetcafes or gaming halls etc...
