Why worry about that? I help some people who want to learn my language and some people worried about things that make them look close to native. Why?
Why should I worry about a little slang word that makes me look closer to native speakers and then after that little slang a nice phrase like this follows: "yup...I to go home!".
Is your Japanese pretty much without errors (I mean the big errors, not those small ones that everyone does in his/her own native language)? Are you fluent in the way you speak? If the answer to those questions is no, then don't worry about speaking like a text book...actually hope you can speak like one coz that would be a wonderful beginning.
