Yes, meyer picked out the vampire genre that is so popular, but it doesn't mean that the plot itself was not poorly executed. For something so hyped, i expected a bit more.

I thought i'd give an intellectual input about the book in a different perspective. I'm sure thats allowed. Cuz all i did was talk about the book. XD
I did really try to get into the first book but I just couldn't. The plot seemed so bland and over done!
