Emo, as music, is the bastard child of Rock and Metal that no one wanted. Emo got left on the steps of a Country monestary, where it was tought saddness through songs. Sadly, Emo couldn't get over it's genetic tendancy to rock out, and thus produced Emo music.

Emo, as a people, are products of the American Dream. Born into a good and loving family, with financial and economical stability, with a promising future of freedom and unrepressed dreams, Emos have taken it upon themselves to disregard all that they've been given to believe that there is nothing worth living for in this world, and thus turn to Emo-ism. For those select few, however, that aren't born into such promising situations, don't realize that their life is not that bad, and turn to Emo-ism.

In short, Emo is the biggest mistake since Eve turned to Adam and said, "You have got to try this apple!"
