I'm not eating dinner anymore and I'm bored so I will post but another poem....
This poem is based on a true story I heard from my criminology/ethics teacher...It mad me so sad that I had to write a poem about it...
Fifteen Miles
I heard a sad story once
About a man who lived
Through New York City he walked
To go jump off a brdge
While searching his apartment
The cops, they found a note
Addressed to his psyciatrist
And to her he wrote
"Fifteen miles to the bridge
If someone, a smile, they gave
I will stop and turn around
My life they will save"
And the psyciatrist thought
"A long walk fifteen mile
With all the people in the city,
Not one gave him a smile?"
And I promised myself
Happy my life I would live
I would save a man's life
Because of the smile I'll give
But it's hard to be just happy
The rest bottled up inside
Maybe if I had let them out
Maybe I wouldn't have died
Fifteen miles I had walked
From my house to a bridge
Had someone given me a smile
I would've lived
If you can't find the message in that poem...you have to be pretty brain dead...lol...but, sad true story, right? The beginning part that is...
If love is stupid, then I stupid you!
An Apple A Day Keeps Anyone Away If You Throw It Hard Enough...
