You actually will NOT hear 「どういたしまして」 too often in Japan. I hear it much more often on JF.
I consulted my "Japanese for Dummies" textbook (should have done this first really) its says the same. It also mentions ぜんぜん which means "oh no not at all" and しんぱいしない which means "no worries"

Would you guys agree?
