I have been married for 16 years and would it again if given the chance. I was married before for the right reason, but we were both immature and it only lasted 3 years.
It's wonderful to wake next to your best friend. i enjoy my life with my wife and we have 3 beautiful children. For me and my wife, it's what God wants for us. Having been in the dating scene for years,before getting married this time, I know that lifestyle is not for me.
There are legal benefits as well. Teh piece of paper allows some benefits in society that would not be available in not married.
Bottom line is the piece of paper was a technicality when I got married. I knew I loved her and wanted to spend the rest of my life with her way before we got married. Marriage is a commitment to each other, an promise to enjoy the good times and enduring the hard times WITH each other, not apart.
